Hello everybody,
Time, as always, continues in its forward trajectory bringing us now to week 7 of Intro to Complexity!
If you are keeping up, we are getting near the end of the course. If not, it's okay, take your time!
Unit 7 is titled Models of Biological Self-Organization. Here the discussion is on collectivity, and you will be presented with examples like flocking in birds, ants, and synchronization in fireflies.
For those of you who are especially fascinated by these topics, I can direct you to some academic papers that go through the mathematics of these types of collectivity. Just send me an email!
